According to what the research has found out, Burger King takes just 3 minutes and 13 seconds to prepare and deliver an order of Burger King chicken fries. On the other hand, when it comes to the most popular drive-thru chains like McDonalds and Chick-A-Fil, customers have to wait for a more extended period — which may sound ironic with the fast food label. It should also be noted that, compared to other drive-thru chains, McDonald’s has probably the last position.
The study from QSR Magazine has also revealed some interesting statistics about the whole trend of drive-thru chains and fast food consumption. The research data shows that people are now ready to wait for fast food to be delivered, based on the idea that more time equates to better quality of the food. One thing to be noted here is that the hypothesis here is relative. Even the slowest drive-thru chain as per the survey has been delivering the products in a time less than five minutes, which is impressive, considering that many outlets take 10 to 15 minutes for a single delivery.
