Surely you remember that when it was revealed that Keanu Reeves will appear in Cyberpunk 2077, the Internet exploded. That said, at some point, there was the possibility that this was not the only release in which we will see it. What we mean is that he was close to playing a Death Stranding character.
In a panel of San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Hideo Kojima, director of Death Stranding, confessed that he was recommended to include Keanu Reeves in the project. That said, he wanted Mads Mikkelsen to be in his game, so that was the decision that was made.
“I was originally recommended to Keanu Reeves, but I loved Mads,” were the words shared by the legendary creative.
Now, Kojima did not go into details of this situation, so we do not know who recommended that Keanu Reeves appear in his game. It is also unclear if Reeves gave life to Cliff (a character who is played by Mikkelsen) or if it was impossible to have the 2 actors in the production for some reason.
And you, would you have liked Reeves to appear in Death Stranding? Tell us in the comments.
We took advantage of the fact that we talked about Death Stranding to tell you that we already saw its final cover and it has a detail that excited the PC gamers. On the other hand, we think you’ll be interested in having a look at his strange collection edition.
Death Stranding will premiere on November 8 on PlayStation 4. Follow this link to see more news related to it.
